Kegel Balls, also known as Ben Wa Balls, are insertable weights that go inside your vagina. Ami balls retrain your pelvic floor muscles and stir up a wild sensation inside your vagina as you exercise. Ami Kegel set comes in three weights - Ami 1 is a soft weight single ball. If you are new to Kegel exercises, start here. Ami 2 is a soft, medium-sized, double ball that is slightly heavier. Ami 3 is a small, hard and heavy double ball for experienced users. Ami is discrete, it is like walking around with a naughty little secret inside you.

- STEP 1 Choose the weight you want to play with and lubricate it generously with a water-based lubricant. Inserting an Ami ball is similar to inserting a tampon. Sit in a comfortable position and push the ball as far as it will go comfortably. You will feel resistance when it hits your cervix, which means you have pushed it all the way into your vagina and into the correct position. The entire Kegel ball (single or double) should be higher than your pubic bone, and a third of the cord should stay out.
- STEP2 Once it is in the correct position, the Kegel ball will work by itself as you go about your day. Do check out our manual for different kinds of Kegel exercises that you can try.
- STEP 3 To remove, gently pull the ball out using the ergonomic retrieval loops.
If you are a complete beginner or if you haven’t used a Kegel ball in a while, start with Ami 1. If Ami 1 isn’t challenging enough for you, use Ami 2. If you have experience of using Kegel balls, go for Ami 3.
For beginners, it is recommended that you use Ami Kegel balls for 1-2 hours, 3 times a week. As you become more comfortable using them, you can gradually increase this duration. It is totally safe to use Ami Kegel balls for longer periods of time.
Ami Ben Wa balls are designed for comfortable insertion. Make sure you smear a generous amount of water-based lubricant before inserting. Ami balls are made up of 100% silicone and do not contain phthalates, making them completely safe to use.

AWESOME!
I’d seen this product in a store and instantly fell in love. The 3 weights are a joy to wear (for more than one reason!). Once inserted, there is no discomfort and they are rather comfortable. (Bonus points ladies if you forget they are there…!) The first weight was too light for me, so I switched to #2 which was a little more challenging; the weights are sized so that #1 and #2 won’t just fall out, which is nice but it’s still a good workout keeping them in place!
#3 is a little tricksier since it’s slimmer than the other 2 and heavier so you really have to work at keeping it in place. All in all, I’m really happy with my purchase; the toys can be washed with antibacterial hand soap, they’re easy to store in their little box so they won’t get knocked around etc. Take care to clean well around the top though, there is a tiny little ridge so you’ll want to make sure you clean that thoroughly.
I give this product 5/5; easily the best kegel weights I’ve ever used. 🙂
